Join Our Team as a Property Officer We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic person to join our busy property management team.
The position is full-time, 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
A mature person with exceptional communication skills is essential.
Other attributes required are excellent organisational skills, good work ethic, and attention to detail.
Previous Property Management experience along with a Real Estate License/Assistant Agent Certificate is preferred but not essential.
The successful applicant must hold a current driver's license without restrictions and have a well-maintained and reliable vehicle.
Attractive salary package including phone and car allowances plus super.

POSITION OVERVIEWResponsible for assisting the Property Manager in the overall management of assigned residential, industrial, or commercial properties to satisfy the requirements of the ownership and tenants, to preserve and increase the value and integrity of the properties, and to meet the financial objectives of the ownership and management.
Main Job Tasks and ResponsibilitiesMarketingObtain referrals from existing tenantsProcess applications and follow up with applicantsPromote and show properties to prospective tenantsInterview, qualify and place tenantsMaintain in-depth knowledge of market conditionsAdministrativeNegotiate and enforce leasesComplete all required paperwork for new tenantsCollect and receipt security deposits, bonds, rent, etc.
in line with regulationsEnsure the premises is ready for new occupantsMaintain all statutory required recordsEnsure compliance with relevant laws and regulationsEnforce terms of rental agreementsFinancialAssist in providing rental appraisals by establishing appropriate rental rates by conducting market researchEnsure timely payments and collectionsMinimise rental arrearsCoordinate default proceedings and attend tribunal hearingsSchedule expendituresTenant/Resident RelationsOrient new tenants to the propertyInvestigate and resolve resident complaints and concerns in a timely and efficient mannerEnforce occupancy policies and proceduresAttend routine inspections and report to landlordsMaintain timely communications with residents and tenantsMaintenanceMonitor and complete maintenance and repairs in a timely fashion and cost-effectivelyEnsure security of premisesOrganise incoming and outgoing inspections and prepare inspection reports including photographyImplement preventative maintenance programsEducation and ExperienceComputer proficiency including Office 365 and Console Cloud property management software (preferred)Real Estate Certificate/Assistant Agent (preferred)Current Driver's License (essential)Personal AttributesMature, confident, and enthusiastic personalityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organised with an ability to prioritiseCalm in challenging situationsStrong attention to detailCan do / Customer focused attitudeExcellent negotiation and conflict resolution skillsProblem solving skillsAdheres to systemsGreat people skills - positive & approachableSense of humour#J-18808-Ljbffr
