About the role As a Property Manager, you will be an integral part of our property management team, working closely with Property Managers, Facilities Managers, Property Administrators, and Leasing Executives. Your primary responsibility will be to manage a portfolio of company-owned assets, focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships with Peregrine Property tenants. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the performance of our property portfolio while delivering positive outcomes for tenants and stakeholders alike.
What Will You Be Responsible For? Oversee your allocated portion of the property portfolio, ensuring all assets are effectively managed.Lead and execute property management projects that drive value and enhance asset performance.Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including tenants, contractors, and internal teams.Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement tailored Property Management and Facilities Management strategies for each asset to optimize performance.Manage tenant financial obligations, lead lease renewal processes, and handle annual outgoing reconciliations and budgets.Organise, conduct, and finalise routine property inspections to ensure compliance and address any issues promptly.Handle all aspects of lease administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with lease terms.Provide property-related assistance and advice to internal clients as needed.Coordinate with the Facilities Manager to manage and oversee maintenance and repairs, ensuring the preservation and enhancement of property conditions.Update and maintain the property management database to ensure accurate and current records.Develop and maintain comprehensive property documentation and records for easy reference and compliance purposes.The Property Manager will work alongside the other members of the property team in all of these tasks and will report directly to the General Manager of Peregrine Property.
What Skills and Experience Will Our Ideal Candidate Have? The successful candidate will possess: A minimum of 10 years experience in the property industry, with qualifications and/or specialist knowledge in property management, facilities management or a related field highly regarded.Customer service skills, with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with tenants, contractors, and stakeholders.Exceptional organisational, time management, and multi-tasking abilities to manage a varied workload effectively.Strong analytical abilities with a proven track record in problem-solving.Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to manage databases and documentation efficiently.Experience with the use of Microsoft BC and Yardi will be highly complementary What's In It for You?
