About the roleAs a Property Maintenance Officer you will assist with the maintenance and keeping of our sites to ensure a safe, and secure environment for our clients and staff.Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Undertaking preventative, urgent, and ad-hoc general maintenanceChecking safety equipmentEnsuring repair requests are fulfilled within agreed timeframes and when appropriate liaise and organise with tradespeople to undertake the maintenance and repairsAssist with coordinating large-scale repairs, maintenance, and property modification workConduct regular inspections and audits of sites, providing accurate and up-to-date reportsInform the Facilities Manager of any risk matters resulting from inspections and auditsWhat you need to succeed:Sufficient relevant experience and expertise attained through previous appointments.Relevant trade qualifications/certificates (desirable)Relevant broad practical skills sufficient to undertake a range of dutiesExperience working collaboratively in a team environment and with a demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service and achieving results.Strong practical problem-solving skillsA working knowledge of statutory requirements and the capacity to observe required work health and safety policies and safe work practices.Willing to use your own vehicle for work purposes and you can claim all work-related travel expenses.Satisfactory DHS Working with Children Clearance, NDIS Worker Screening, and National Police Check.SA Driver LicenceHow to Apply:Please attach your resume and complete your work history & education information on the application page.
