Details of the offer

LEAD Conveyancing is a growing law firm that provides legal services primarily in residential conveyancing (for now). We pride ourselves on being able to provide great service at a good price and utilising advanced technology to make our clients' experience easier. We have a fun loving and diverse team culture where we encourage individual growth in our team members, both locally and interstate. We have grown quickly in both Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria since the inception of LEAD Conveyancing in 2020 and have every intention to expand our practice to the rest of Australia, with Western Australia as the next frontier. At LEAD Conveyancing, our team enjoys working together, overcoming hurdles as a team, and providing a great working culture. Our workplace is a great place for any lawyer who is switched on, and capable of providing both legal and practical advice suitable to our clients' circumstances.
Tasks & responsibilities Performing contract drafting and contract review for residential properties Provide legal advice to clients as a part of the conveyancing services as required Provide supervision and support to the paralegals that are handling the day to day running of conveyance matters Handle files and maintain great relationships with clients Assist the Legal Director and other Senior Lawyers of the business in developing good customer service practices and templates to achieve maximum efficiency in the legal practice Provide supervision and sign offs for paper settlements and electronic settlements of residential property transactions Qualifications & experience Experience in the property law and conveyancing industry is required. Experience in other complimentary areas of law would also be a bonus but not required. Remuneration is negotiable but will be commensurate to the applicant's level of experience. To be successful and happy at your role, you will need to have a cheerful pre-disposition, a can-do attitude, and the willingness to work in a team. Being tech-savvy is a must for this role as we utilise technology significantly to provide legal services. We are also working towards a "paper-less" working environment so the ability to manage your files electronically where possible is required. Great customer service skills are also a bonus as this role will require customer contact on a regular basis. This is a great opportunity for a newly admitted lawyer, or a lawyer wishing to change practice fields, as we are willing and able to provide structured on the job training. Our practice can provide legal services to customers entirely remotely and via the use of advanced technology. This role is primarily based in our Perth office and is a full-time role. Every team member is provided with a work laptop to allow them to be more flexible with their working location as the opportunity arises, including working in our various offices across the country. We value every team member that comes on with us and we commit to ensuring that their career with us is a successful one that will set them up for their next chapter. We ask only that our team members commit to work hard, to learn and to grow with us. We are a small firm with a big dream, so the successful applicant can expect to be exposed to a wide array of both legal and non-legal work. We are open to sharing our experiences with our team so if you're a lawyer with an interest in both legal and non-legal work (such as how to run a business) we would be happy to give you opportunities and see you grow. We are looking for a great property lawyer who wants to make a difference to their client's property dealings whilst working within a growing company to join our team. If you are interested, we look forward to hearing from you!
