Local Government based in the inner eastern suburbs | 3-month contract | Full time – 38 hours per week | To start ASAP

This is a great opportunity to work with an excellent council giving you the chance to broaden your local government experience and knowledge. The organisation takes pride in looking after their staff's well-being.

The council is looking for a highly skilled professional to join their Property and Leasing Team. This is a temporary position. The position is to start ASAP.


Your key responsibilities include: Manage and oversee property management tasks within our council property portfolio.Handle land ownership enquiries and provide expert advice.Review, negotiate, and manage a range of leases and licenses.Ensure compliance with local government legislation and statutory processes.Collaborate effectively with a small team while managing a diverse range of property-related issues. Qualifications: Extensive experience in property management and leasing, ideally within a local government context.Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory processes.Proven ability to read and interpret licenses and contracts.Excellent negotiation skills and attention to detail.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will have the following: Local government experience is essential.A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
