Projex Building are seeking an experienced Project Manager to work in our Commercial Division. Projex Building provides high-quality building services to both private and government clients across the ACT, including commercial construction, residential multi-units, refurbishments, fitouts and more. The duties of this role may include but are not limited to:
Undertake duties required to oversee the delivery of projects assigned to you by the Directors; Assist bid teams in preparation of tender submissions; Full accountability of project delivery, including resourcing, site management, project budget, project scheduling, consultant and client stakeholder management; Visit sites regularly and monitor quality, safety and construction status; Collaborate effectively with clients, subcontractors/trades and suppliers; Participate in the development of Projex Building's management systems, branding and clientele; Undertake a leadership role within the business with focus on mentoring and developing building cadets and contracts administrators; Participate in the development and implementation of our Integrated Project Management Plan on a project by project basis. The ideal applicantwill have :
Tertiary experience in a relevant discipline, such as Building and Construction Management, Engineering etc; Proven track record in a similar role delivering commercial construction projects with multiple years' experience; A high standard of written and verbal communication; Strong analytical skills; Excellent attention to detail; Ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment; Computer literate with proficiency in MS Project and MS Office Suite; Previous experience with Jobpac, Procore, ProcurePro and 1Breadcrumb software is advantageous; Understanding of Building Codes/Australian Standards/Construction & Contract Law.
