OPG provides commercial services including design, manufacture, fabrication and project management from one Gold Coast location, as a market leader in the commercial fit out sector.
An experienced Project & Contracts Admin is sought to join our team.
What do you do?
Reporting into the Senior Projects Manager, this role is responsible for providing support to the wider project team to achieve project objectives and ensure compliance with the client's requirements. The right person will find it extremely rewarding and will receive great support within a positive and progressive environment. This position offers opportunities for a pathway to Project Management. What do you need?
2+ years of Contract Administration experience in a similar industry. Project Administration Skills: Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client, stakeholder interaction and team coordination. Problem-Solving: A solution driven approach to identifying and resolving issues that may arise during the project lifecycle. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to project success. Procurement: Engage with internal OPG divisions / production for manufacturing supply and delivery including issue of contracts &/or purchase orders. Experience with on site OH & S practices and legislative requirements. Maintain proactive and positive relationships with client, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers. Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules. Plan actions and complete all documentation in alignment with the Head Contract and raise any discrepancies early. Take ownership and responsibility for all costs and budget outcomes. Have current knowledge of all aspects of the project's financial position at any point in time. Support the Project Managers and Site Managers to determine and communicate an effective request for information (RFI) management process with subcontractors. Ensure project document control to meet all contract requirements, including drawings, specifications and reports. What's in it for you?
