Project Support Officer / Senior Project OfficerWe are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic applicants for the Level 4 role of Project Support Officer and the Level 5 role of Senior Project Officer.About the rolesThe Project Support Officer (PSO Level 4) supports policy initiatives and projects that contribute to the Commission's strategies and objectives. The Project Support Officer facilitates and supports suicide prevention projects and initiatives at a local, regional and state-wide level in accordance with State Government priorities, and priorities identified by the Manager, Suicide Prevention.The Senior Project Officer (PSO Level 5) undertakes projects which contribute to the Commission's commitment to prevent and reduce incidents of suicide in Western Australia. The Senior Project Officer contributes and coordinates the development and implementation of associated projects and policies within the Prevention and Wellbeing Directorate, and Suicide Prevention team, and provides assistance and support to the relevant areas.In undertaking the role of these positions, the occupants will need to recognise that there is a commitment to focussing on the needs of the individual, their families, carers or advocates working in partnership for better alcohol and other drug outcomes and improved mental health.This is two Fixed Term Full Time appointments for 12 months with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.About usThe Mental Health Commission's (Commission) vision is for a Western Australian community that experiences optimal mental health and minimal alcohol and other drug-related harms.
