As a Global Consultancy with a "One Team" approach, we are looking for a superstar to join the team.In this role you will be a key project support contact for the APAC wide Planning & Assessment service line, working closely with our Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Management, Permitting & Compliance, Planning, GIS, Social Performance and Landscape Architecture teams.
You will work collaboratively with our consultants on our range of interesting and multi-discipline projects across the APAC region.Job tasks and responsibilitiesYou will be a self-sufficient candidate who can work autonomously and be proactive in working with local teams and the wider APAC group.
You will bring a positive energy and drive to do great work.
Your responsibilities will include the following:Assistance with project administration and workflow management (including financial).Project scheduling and systems updates.Supporting consultants with management of sub-consultant and client financial and project management, including project setup in systems such as Vantage Point.Assistance to team with business and project planning.Provision of research and analytical support to the consultant team.Preparation of technical graphics, and figures for reports and presentations.Data entry and basic data analysis.Using Vantage Point and other metrics to ensure project elements are continually monitored (e.g.
unbilled WIP reports, invoicing and credit notes on behalf of PM's).Ensuring that authorization processes, policies and practices are communicated and followed (e.g.
expenses, expenditure, equipment).Technical Discipline / Service Line specific assistance.Skills and experienceIdeally you should demonstrate experience working within a professional consulting environment and have ambition to keep progressing your career by challenging yourself as well as having:Typically 3-6 years' experience in a project support role coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications (desirable).Financial management understanding.Experience working in a team environment.Accuracy and attention to detail.Reliability and ability to complete tasks on time and on budget.Effective communication skills with colleagues and clients.Competency in project support tasks with an interest in project management.A proactive and analytical approach to problem solving.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and aptitude with other technical and graphics software packages.Flexibility and creativity in approaching new tasks and learning.Our benefits at SLR includeOur culture is unique where we work together to collaborate on projects to get the best possible outcome for our clients.
