Project Support Officer - Planning and Land Development We are seeking a Project Support Officer based at our Head Office in Perth CBD to facilitate the successful assessment of planning and development applications through a variety of administrative and support activities.
This role involves managing confidential applications, applying policies and standards, and performing specialized tasks to support the relevant functional area.
By providing accurate and detailed responses aligned to Western Power's policy and standards you will help support the customer seek the outcomes they require whilst planning a small or large development.

Your Role in Action Evaluate and recommend conditions for planning approval, ensuring they align with relevant policies and standards.Assess subdivision applications across residential, rural, commercial, and industrial sectors, collaborating with surveyors and planning officers.Provide concise advisory support to external parties.Effectively manage complex enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.Maintain a high standard of customer service by promptly addressing inquiries via phone and email, while seeking opportunities to improve performance, accuracy, and efficiency, especially under deadline pressures.What Makes You a Great Fit Completed Year 12 (or equivalent) with English and Mathematics subjects with preferably 4 + years' experience within a project management environment or similarStrong collaboration, influential and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to effectively respond to complex enquiries within prescribed timeframes.Ability to adapt to a fast paced, highly volumetric environment.Experience with MS Office suite, with a high level of IT proficiency.Proven customer service skills with a strong attention to detail and a focus on identifying performance improvement opportunities and maintaining accuracy under pressure.By joining Western Power, you will contribute to powering a cleaner energy future.
