This is a fixed-term temporary part-time opportunity to provide ongoing support to the Deadly Start School Based Traineeship Program, facilitating a meaningful experience that will encourage future pathways into the health sector.
Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
About the role This role involves providing high-level administration support, identifying potential areas for improvement, and optimizing the Deadly Start School Based Traineeship Program.
About you Our ideal candidate will carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with Metro North Health's values:
Support the state in ongoing improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the program.Identify, monitor, and address urgent enquiries and issues on behalf of the Program Manager and Senior Project Officer, demonstrating initiative and self-direction to resolve issues.Examine incoming correspondence, prioritizing and taking appropriate action, including coordinating timely responses in consultation with the Program Manager and other program team members.Health Equity All Metro North Health staff, including the incumbent of this role, are expected to contribute to the health equity agenda and support the six actions that specifically meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS).
