We are seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to join our team at Whyalla Earthworks Pty Ltd in Port Pirie, SA.
This is a contract role, where you will take on a pivotal position overseeing construction projects and leading a team of skilled workers to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.
What you'll be doing
Manage and coordinate construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control Lead and motivate a team of construction workers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals and timelines are met Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process Monitor and report on project progress, costs, and safety compliance Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulations, codes, and company policies What we're looking for
Extensive experience (5+ years) as a Project Supervisor or Foreperson in the construction industry Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and blueprints Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders What we offer
