Join our West Musgrave team as a Project Supervisor with prior experience in bulk & civil earthworks.
The role will be site-based, working a 2 week on, 1 week off roster and doing day shift only.
You will oversee civil & bulk earthworks on a greenfield mine site and be responsible for the project's activities, safety, and execution of works within budget and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Leading from the front and driving our culture and vision to lead the industry through safety;Effectively managing resources to ensure achievement of production schedules;Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of contractual requirements;Providing effective leadership and supervision through 'on the ground' presence, direction, guidance and feedback to teams and individuals;Providing timely and accurate information to meet management and Client requirements;Maintaining and adhering to the scheduling of project activities;Ensuring all contractual and KPI reporting is provided to management and the Client;Working closely with the Project Management Team to ensure project activities are completed safely, within budget, and in a timely manner;Inspiring and encouraging others towards goal achievement; andPeriodically assessing employee performance by conducting scheduled appraisals in accordance with performance objectives and prepares corrective and development plans as necessary.Candidate Requirements: Experience in supervisory/management role within the mining and/or civil industry (essential);Certificate IV or Diploma in Management (or equivalent experience/qualification) (highly regarded);S1, S2 and S3 qualifications (highly regarded)Demonstrated understanding of mining and/or civil plant and equipment operations and maintenance;Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings;Effective planning ability, time management, and prioritisation;Confident communication and ability to effectively liaise with other employees, clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors;Experience with and confident using Microsoft Office and maintenance related systems (MEX) etc.;Self-motivated with a positive attitude;Desire to work in remote locations; andHave a hands-on approach.Our Company
