Are you looking for a career where you can collaborate with both creative and engineering types to build a better world with innovative technology? If so, meet Autodesk. Learn more about why Autodesk is continually ranked a top place to work by Fortune, Forbes, Glassdoor and others.
The Events & Experiences team within Autodesk's Brand & Creative organization delivers world-class experiences that strengthen engagement and relationships with Autodesk. That includes events that are live, digital, and hybrid, from customer briefings and Autodesk brand activations to our flagship conferences.
We're looking for the next member of our content team. In this role, you'll partner with keynote producers, event leadership, content partners in Global Communications and across the company, to plan and execute main stage content for Autodesk's flagship events.
You have experience in event and program management and a proven ability to create and manage complex processes and workflows. You're versatile—comfortable delving into event logistics, agencies, and vendor relationships when necessary, but pragmatic enough to recalibrate, let go, and empower your colleagues. You thrive in ambiguity, staying focused on key milestones while finding solutions, orchestrating change, and keeping your colleagues and stakeholders aligned. You might believe anything is possible, but you're humble and accountable when outcomes aren't achieved.
Responsibilities Manage processes related to main stage content development, ensuring all assets and deliverables are on track and meet high standards of quality and creativity. Ensure operational efficiency by continually testing and optimizing processes, using insights to inform future projects, and creating new processes when necessary. Work collaboratively with Keynote Producers to support and guide main stage programs, including operational, logistical, and strategic aspects of the main stage programs for all flagship events. Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including agencies, contractors, and vendors to inform processes and operational structures. Manage and improve speaker experiences by optimizing processes across the content team. Locate resources, visit sites, and collaborate on pre-event meetings to help staff make decisions about event experiences. Minimum Qualifications 8+ years of experience in event management and content production. Proven experience in creating and managing processes and timelines. A demonstrable track record in producing world-class content. Strong creative background with an understanding of live production. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all organizational levels. Analytical advisor role that requires understanding of the theories and concepts of a discipline and the ability to apply best practices. Knowledge and experience such that the incumbent can understand the full range of relevant principles, practices, and practical applications within their discipline. Solve complex problems of diverse scope by taking a new perspective on existing solutions and applying knowledge of best practices in practical situations. Use data analysis, judgment, and interpretation to select the right course of action. Apply creativity in recommending variations in approach. "Connect the dots" of assignments to the bigger picture. May lead projects or key elements within a broader project. May also have accountability for leading and improving ongoing processes. Build effective relationships with more senior practitioners and peers, and build a network of external peers. Work independently, with close guidance given at critical points. May begin to act as a mentor or resource for colleagues with less experience. Preferred Qualifications Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Ability to handle changing priorities and work effectively under pressure. Strong leadership skills and the ability to build and nurture relationships with stakeholders. An operational mindset, but an ability to think both strategically and creatively. Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally, as necessary to support executive presentations and global events. Salary transparency Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on discretionary annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock or long-term incentive cash grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
