About the roleThis full-time Project Scheduler - IT role at NEC Australia is an excellent opportunity to utilise your strong project scheduling and coordination skills to support the successful delivery of IT projects. Based in our Perth office, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed project schedules, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.What you'll be doingDeveloping and maintaining detailed project schedules using project management softwareMonitoring project progress and identifying and addressing potential risks and issuesFacilitating regular project meetings and providing updates to key stakeholdersCollaborating with project teams to optimise resource allocation and ensure timely project deliveryProviding support in the preparation of project documentation, including status reports and dashboardsIdentifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the development of project management best practicesWhat we're looking forSignificant experience in a project scheduling or coordination role, ideally within an IT or technology environmentProficiency in using project management software, such as Microsoft Project or PrimaveraStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with project teams and senior stakeholdersExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve scheduling conflictsA collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team environmentTertiary qualifications in project management, information technology or a related field are desirableWhat we offerAt NEC Australia, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and dynamic work environment.
