Project Scheduler

Project Scheduler  MPS Group based at Olympic Dam is a provider of project services to BHP. Due to growth, we are seeking an experienced Scheduler to join our team. You will work between our Stepney office and Olympic Dam as required 
Role and responsibilities:  Develop, maintain, and revise project schedules for our ongoing construction projects. Build and maintain productive internal partnerships to ensure schedules are realistic, reliable, and used effectively to achieve objectivesIncorporate vendors' and subcontractors' schedules into the master schedules.Collaborate with project teams to gather progress updates and incorporate them into the schedule. Identify potential delays, critical paths, and schedule slippages. Proactively communicate these findings to the Project Managers. Provide clear and concise reports to Project Managers on schedule status, performance metrics, s-curves, and potential issues. Continuously seek opportunities to improve scheduling processes, project systems, and overall efficiency. Prepare schedules, and resource histograms for tendersCollaborate with business stakeholders to develop, maintain, and revise Company resource schedules and work pipelinesParticipate in scheduling meetings both internally and with clients to present baseline and progress schedule reports and related project documentation To be successful, you'll need: Proven experience as a Scheduler. Strong understanding of construction processes and project management principles. Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and Microsoft office suite.  Shortlisted applicants must be willing to participate in a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.
