Project Scheduler

Convergence Consulting is a Canberra-based company specialising in the delivery of complex programmes, organisational transformation and integrated scheduling capabilities. We provide these professional services to the Commonwealth Government with a strong culture of project management excellence.
We are seeking expressions of interest for a Project Scheduler with extensive experience in various delivery frameworks to undertake project scheduling work within a Digital Portfolio Management Office.
This role requires expertise in pulling data from different project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project and even Kanban boards to provide a cohesive and accurate portfolio view of project timelines and progress. The Scheduler will work closely with Project Managers, stakeholders, and other key team members to produce and maintain the schedule.
Responsibilities:Develop, maintain and consolidate detailed project schedules from a variety of digital projects within the portfolio;Provide regular reporting on project status, milestones and critical path, highlighting risks and potential delays;Facilitate schedule-related meetings and discussions to ensure clarity on project timelines, scope changes and dependencies;Support the Portfolio Manager in reporting and decision-making by providing accurate, real-time schedule data.This role requires a minimum AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance.
This role is a hybrid working arrangement with the ability to work from Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide. This engagement is for 5 months with an optional 12 month extension.
