Project Sales Consultant – Commercial Furniture & Lighting

Our Client Is an established, growing supplier of high-end residential & commercial furniture & interior products.
They have offices in Perth and interstate and are suppliers of Australian and overseas designer furniture, lighting, and interior brands and products.
Due to expansion, they have created this brand new role in their Melbourne team and are looking to employ a dynamic, proactive sales person to join the commercial sales team.
The Job We are seeking a confident sales person, ideally with a design qualification and relevant commercial interior sales experience.
Your role will be based in the showroom but more importantly out face-to-face with various decision makers including architects, interior designers, builders, developers, project managers, and end users.
Your role will be to build strong relationships with these existing and new clients, aiming to get products specified into various commercial fit outs, including Workplace, Education, Government, Hospitality, Aged Care, and more.
Supported by an in-house admin and estimating team, this will enable you to focus on building relationships with your client base and working towards sales targets, KPIs, and budgets.
The role is Monday to Friday, and you will inherit an established client base, but you will also be required to target some new business development as part of your call cycle.
Skills Required We are seeking applicants who can demonstrate the following skills:
Proven track record of relevant sales in commercial furniture or similar projects in VIC.A design qualification and passion for the interiors industry.Strong face-to-face relationship building skills and superb presentation skills.Full driving licence and a proactive approach to selling and building relationships.Knowledge of commercial furniture or associated interior fit out products desired.The Package In return, we can offer you a long-term career move with an excellent organisation, a great product offering, and uncapped earning potential.
