Project Risk Manager About Inland Rail
The Inland Rail Program is a 1600km rail infrastructure project stretching from Brisbane to Melbourne incorporating new and existing rail track. The program includes the upgrading of existing standard gauge track, the enhancement of existing standard gauge track to cater for double stacking and the construction of new standard gauge links comprising of viaducts, tunnels, rail track, crossings and bridges. About the opportunity
As the Inland Rail South of Narromine (SoN) Project Risk Manager, you will be responsible for leading risk management activities for South of Narromine projects in delivery. You will ensure effective identification, management and mitigation of risks, including undertaking cost and schedule analysis at both project and portfolio level. Working collaboratively with key stakeholders across SoN projects you will provide risk management leadership to the application of the project risk management processes in alignment with the Portfolio Risk Management Plan. Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Management Office South of Narromine, this role can be based in the Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide CBD offices with the following key responsibilities:
Lead and monitor the review and update of project risks to provide quantitative risk analysis and reporting.Support and guide risk owners in identifying, recording, rating and proactively managing risks, controls and treatment plans.Collaborate with contractor partners to identify, assess, and capture project and package risk profiles.Monitor overall risk exposure to assess potential impacts against milestones and contingency.Generate dashboards and reports accompanied by risk insights and present to senior management at governance forums.Monitor threat or opportunity trigger points to facilitate risk, cost, or schedule profiling, and ensure the timely drawdown of risk, budget, or retirement of threats and opportunities.About you
To ensure success in this position, applicants will be able to demonstrate:
