Parks Victoria is seeking a Project Officer for the North region's flood recovery program Enjoy a healthy work-life balance in this Fixed Term role Work in a supportive and collaborative team $87,557 - $94,037 + Superannuation About the role As the Project Officer you will be responsible for coordinating impact assessments, developing recovery and reopening plans, and working closely with the Western Victoria Recovery team and regional staff to coordinate and manage works delivery (i.e. hazardous tree management, roading works, and other duties as directed) including procurement and quality assurance. As the Project Officer, you will assist in works that are to be delivered as part of a defined project with tied or recurrent specific funding to that project. We're looking for someone with: Previous experience in project management - planning and delivery. Demonstrated experience in reviewing expert and technical advice. Working knowledge of fire and emergency operations is preferred. Stakeholder management experience and excellent communication skills are required. Tertiary qualification in Science and/or equivalent experience in a similar field is desirable.
