Salary Range: $92,332 - $104,762

As a Project Officer Native Title, you will support the resolution of native title claims/RSA agreements, meet TO aspirations and support self-determination. Knowledge of native title/TOS Act and the ability to work individually and within a team environment are essential qualities to the role.
Other highlights of this role include working in an environment where everyone is supported, valued, and contributing to delivering on a high government policy priority (i.e., self-determination), hybrid work arrangements and development opportunities.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
Experience and knowledge in the development and delivery of policy, programs and projects; use of these skills in the context of Traditional Owner Settlement Act 2010 (Vic) and Native Title Act 1993 (Cth) negotiations, land management and natural resource management and Traditional Owner policy is advantageous.
Teritary qualifications in law, natural resource or environmental management and public policy or similar is desirable.
A demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and society and ability to communicate effectively with Aboriginal people.
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
