Job no: 882755 Work type: Full time Location: Adelaide CBD Categories: Administration and Clerical, MedicalDepartment for Health and Wellbeing – Clinical System Support & Improvement – South Australian Medical Education and Training (SA MET) UnitSalary: $76,561 to $80,256 – ASO4 – Full Time / Term Contract up to 30 June 2025Overview:The Project Officer – Medical Workforce is responsible to the South Australian Medical Education and Training (SA MET) Unit for the:Development of a medical trainee data collection framework for medical workforce training, planning and analysis locally and internationally.Collaborating with the SA MET Medical Education Team and coordinating the annual recruiting and allocation of Interns and Trainee Medical Officers across public hospitals.Developing and implementing evaluation procedures for the recruitment and allocation process.Processing and managing Area of Need applications and responding to queries related to the recruitment of International Medical Graduates.Development of high-quality Ministerial briefings and public responses.Providing ongoing project and administrative support to the Director SA MET Unit, Manager Medical Training and the Chief Medical Officer.The incumbent must be able to work semi-independently and have well-developed analytical (strategic and statistical) skills as well as be able to prepare written reports.The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working part-time.
