The Marketing and Communications unit at Education Queensland International is looking for an experienced project officer with strong writing skills to join their dynamic team.

About the Role: The content writer is a specialist that plays a key role within the Marketing Team, International Business, DE International, Department of Education.
The content writer creates engaging, SEO-optimized content for various platforms, supporting marketing strategies.
They write stories that promote DEi's brand, products, and services including newsletters, social media posts, brochures, and reports.
The role involves managing communication projects, collaborating with key stakeholders, and contributing to marketing activities such as media relations, events, and partnerships.
Responsibilities include: Develop content to promote key International Student Program (ISP) products and servicesWrite and edit communications and marketing materials such as publications, e-newsletters, online content, advertisements, speeches, media releases, briefing notes, and correspondenceSupport program and campaign promotions for Homestay host recruitment, Study Tours, and Offshore (Recognised) schools and other initiativesConsult with internal and external clients to create and advise on communication strategiesParticipate in strategic planning to meet the department's marketing and communications objectivesThis is a Temporary Part-time position (0.8 FTE) until 28 March 2025, then Full-time hours available.
