The Mackay Hospital Expansion Project at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Project Officer to join their team on a temporary basis.
Your opportunity To support the Project Lead and wider MHHS Project Team Principal Project Managers with all aspects of project planning and delivery for the MHEP over the next four years.To interface and collaborate with the Health Infrastructure Queensland representatives, project management consultants, and a wider team of external consultants.To facilitate engagement with key clinical and non-clinical stakeholders as part of the MHEP.To assist with the change management associated with the physical and operational changes that MBH will experience.To support the planning and delivery of other concurrent MHHS priority healthcare infrastructure projects.About the Team In July 2022, the Queensland Government announced a $250 million funding commitment to carry out the Mackay Hospital Expansion Project (MHEP). This vital infrastructure project, which is being expedited as part of the Statewide Capital Expansion Program (CEP), will deliver an additional 128 inpatient beds for the Mackay Base Hospital (MBH).
