Project Officer, Clerk Grade 7/8 , State Emergency Service. Wollongong, Wollongong, Illawarra & South Coast NSW. Programme & Project Management (Information & Communication Technology). Government - State (Government & Defence). Full time.
About the opportunity: This role coordinates multiple and diverse projects for new and enhanced operational capability for the Agency. You will provide project management and change management, working collaboratively with stakeholders across a wide range of business functions. Responsibilities include coordinating resources, preparing high-quality documentation and communications, change management activities, and implementing project plans to ensure successful project delivery.
About the NSW SES: Our Mission: NSW SES saving lives and creating safer communities. Our Vision: A trusted volunteer-based emergency service, working together to deliver excellence in community preparedness and emergency response. The NSW SES serves as the lead agency for floods, storms, and tsunamis, with over 11,000 volunteers and 450 staff.
About you: To be successful in this role, you will:
Have demonstrated successful experience in project and change management roles. Have a structured and methodical approach to project planning and execution. Possess strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and manage resources. Have exceptional attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality project documentation. Be proficient in building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholder groups. Competitive salary package of up to $131,845.59 (salary range $106,025.00 - $117,363.00). Total remuneration package includes salary plus employer's 11.5% contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
