About the role
This is a permanent full-time position working 35 hours a week at the Nowra Administration Building.
This position is responsible for providing project management and contract administration support in the delivery of a wide range of building infrastructure, services and compliance projects, including coordinating upgrade or renewal works in accordance with delivery programs, from inception to completion.
Duties
Reporting directly to the Manager - Building Services, the focus of this position is to:
Provide effective project management and site representation across a range of projects including direct management of contract works.Undertake routine monitoring of technical, quality, environment and WHS compliance.Ensure applicable legislative requirements are fulfilled by contractors undertaking works.Provide best practice advice and guidance to Building Services department employees.Skills & Experience
To be successful in the position, you will have:
Certificate IV in Building or Construction, Project Management, Engineering or related field OR extensive experience in the building and construction industry.General Construction Induction Card (white card).Class C Drivers Licence.Demonstrated experience in a range of construction delivery functions.About Shoalhaven City Council
