We are an innovative and dynamic team passionate about providing evidence-based health promotion services to the community and are looking for a Project Officer to join our Wallsend or Tamworth office.About the role:Health Promotion Project Officers undertake tasks related to the development, delivery and evaluation of health promotion services. They work with partner organisations across diverse settings including clinical units and non-government and community organisations to provide services that prevent and reduce harm from communicable and non-communicable diseases.The successful candidate will work in a team and be supported by a Program Manager and other Project Officers. Support will be provided through ongoing training, formal performance feedback, and during day-to-day tasks.We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with: Well-developed communication and partner engagement skills. Ability to work as part of a team, and independently. Ability to prioritise workload and complete tasks on time. Creativity and the ability to problem solve. Well-developed computer skills. Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health, social science related or PDHPE discipline with a preference for post graduate qualifications or equivalent experience.
