Exciting Role - Permanent, Full-time, Herston | Support and assist in the continuous improvement and quality assurance in design and development of innovative strategic projects which assist and support the Queensland Health nursing workforce.The roleThe role is responsible for supporting the Office of the Chief Nurse Officer program team in various project-related activities, ensuring alignment with Queensland Health's service quality standards and core values. Key responsibilities include assisting senior management with specific projects by applying contemporary project management methodologies to deliver products and services to the nursing workforce. The role also involves monitoring project performance, reporting on progress, and preparing project documentation to ensure successful achievement of project objectives and corporate goals.The position requires effective communication and stakeholder engagement, both internally and externally, to facilitate smooth project operations. Additionally, the role will provide timely advice to senior management, act as a secretariat when required, and contribute to a high-performing team by participating in continuous improvement activities. Strong written communication skills are essential for preparing reports, briefings, and project-related correspondence. The successful candidate will also be expected to develop their technical knowledge and adhere to the Clinical Excellence Queensland Project Management Framework when undertaking project tasks.The successful personTo succeed in this role, you will bring experience in managing stakeholder relationships, communication, and negotiation, ensuring project outcomes are achieved.
