Your opportunity: We have an exciting, fixed term opportunity for an experienced Project Manager – Working at Heights to join our Field Services team.
The Field Services Group is accountable for the performance and optimisation of maintenance on Urban Utilities' assets, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction is delivered to over 600,000 properties and 1.3 million of customers within Urban Utilities service regions.
Field Services delivers over 100,000 maintenance activities annually through both a large in-house workforce and a number of Delivery Partner commercial arrangements.

With a strong focus on developing a culture of safety, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the Critical Risk - Working at Heights Safety Project initiative to reduce the risk for operations and maintenance activities across the business.
This project forms part of Urban Utilities' Critical Risk Management (CRM) approach.
This role is crucial in ensuring that our workforce has the knowledge, skills, and confidence to work safely in elevated locations and are supported with safe working environments.
As the Project Manager for the Working at Heights Safety Project, you will: Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify tasks, assets, and conduct risk assessments and inspections.
Coordinate inspections, track progress, and manage deliverables within Urban Utilities systems.
Facilitate immediate actions with subject matter experts to minimize disruptions to operations and maintenance.
Prioritize corrective maintenance activities, develop budgets and replacement/renewal/asset creation costs, and create delivery plans with stakeholder input.
Work with our internal commercial team on scope and panel contracts for delivery of minor capital activities while tracking spend across the various workstreams.
Oversee project governance, reporting progress to the Critical Risk program and governance groups.
About you: Proven experience in project management, preferably within safety, construction, or industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of working at heights regulations, risk management, and safety protocols.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage diverse teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Passion for safety and fostering a positive safety culture.
