Project Manager - Vessel Sustainment Program

This role calls for an experienced Project Manager who will oversee critical defence vessel programs within Austal's sustainment operations. Based in Cairns, you will collaborate closely with the ABF, Auspol or the Defence Sustainment Manager and ship managers to ensure projects meet all operational timelines and budgetary guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate multi-disciplinary team efforts to ensure on-time delivery of service support and maintenance for defence vessels.Manage project scope and interdependencies within established change management processes to meet contractual outcomes.Ensure material sourcing aligns with system and vessel support outcomes within set schedules.Lead and develop diverse teams, maintaining high collaboration and effective communication in a dynamic environment.Build and manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring all parties are well-informed about project statuses, issues, and changes.
