The Opportunity Our client, a major utilities provider, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead their North Sydney Relocation project and additional site improvements.
This initial 12-month contract role will oversee all digital infrastructure aspects of a complex control room and office relocation.
The Role As Project Manager, you'll lead the end-to-end delivery of critical digital infrastructure, focusing on control room operations, meeting room technology, and desktop solutions.
Your responsibilities will include: Managing design, implementation, testing, and relocation of control room systems and grid monitoring infrastructure Overseeing meeting room technology deployment and desktop equipment transitions Coordinating with property teams, suppliers, and stakeholders across multiple locations Ensuring seamless integration of security systems and critical infrastructure Budget management and cost estimation for multiple site improvements About You To succeed in this role, you will need proven experience managing complex control room relocations, particularly in utilities or critical services.
You will also need: Strong background in critical infrastructure projects and digital transformation Expertise in control room layout design and implementation Experience coordinating multi-site technology deployments Ability to manage stakeholders across different locations Willingness to travel regularly between Melbourne and Sydney Benefits Competitive daily rate Choice of Melbourne or Sydney base location An initial 12-month contract starting February Opportunity to work on critical infrastructure projects Location Base location can be either Melbourne or Sydney, there will be frequent travel between these locations.
