Project Manager (Switchboard Manufacturing)

Key Function: Reporting to the Division Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for end to end delivery of client switchboard orders (Bespoke, modular, LV switchboards). You will be experienced in identifying project risk and implementation of mitigation strategies.

Your responsibilities will include: Preparation of delivery programs for allocated projectsLiaising with design and production teams to ensure agreed programs are metTracking and management of allocated projects to meet agreed time and financial targetsLiaising with Procurement to ensure timely delivery of project materialsOversee project administration, including variation processingReporting dutiesClient management/updating duties Skills and experience required to be successful in this role: Previous experience in electrical switchboard production/manufacturing ideally as a Project Manager or SupervisorSupervisors and Project Managers, who have experience in the commercial contracting side of the electrical industry who are interested in moving into the switchboard manufacturing side, are also encouraged to applyElectrical trade background or Electrical Engineering degree essentialProject Management qualification desirableMS Project experience preferredExcellent communication skills and a true team playerExcellent planning and time management capabilities with high attention to detail and accuracyAdaptable and flexible approach to work - a can do attitude
