About the Opportunity There is currently one (1) permanent, full-time position available for immediate filling.
As the Project Manager (Strategic Projects), you will play a key role in leading the development and implementation of new initiatives and innovative solutions that drive achievement of the Department's priorities, as aligned with broader WA government objectives. These initiatives will focus on supporting regional infrastructure development, including the Green Energy transition and diversification of WA's industries.
The ideal candidate is experienced in working across state and/or federal agencies and industry on infrastructure projects, complex initiatives, and/or business development and investment attraction. You are able to build partnerships and collaborate with stakeholders to address barriers and achieve shared outcomes that drive business economic development and liveability in the regions.

Employment Conditions and Additional Information DPIRD is an Emergency Management Agency, and all employees may be required to work or travel during or outside of normal business hours to assist with incidents and emergencies.
Eligibility To be eligible for a permanent appointment to the Western Australian public sector, you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status in Australia. To be eligible for a fixed-term or casual appointment, you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period as part of your application.
