Add expected salary to your profile for insightsAs a Project Manager/ Senior Project Manager, you will lead the Building and Construction team in WA with extended support from the building and construction team based in SA and the environmental services team based in WA. You will report to the Construction Manager and will have a primary focus on supervising the projects with an emphasis on maintaining quality and ensuring technical compliance throughout the project lifecycle, i.e. from tender award to execution and final close-out phase.This role will play a pivotal role in stakeholder management and overseeing project delivery processes to achieve stringent quality objectives.This role is responsible for but not limited to:Manage project financial performance and reportingManage subcontractor selection, engagement and performancePrepare, evaluate and implement quality assurance plans and other mandatory technical documentationPlan and manage timely and efficient execution of the project within the allocated budget and scopeProactive stakeholder management and communication to foster collaborative relationshipsShare regular project progress reports with relevant internal and external stakeholdersCommitment to WHS and Environmental standards, to promote a culture of safety-firstDemonstrate problem-solving and leadership skills, foster teamwork and guide project team and external contractorsAbout YouAs the successful applicant you will have:Strong communication skills (verbal and written)Previous experience delivering projects in Defence, Defence industry / Defence Prime, Industrial, or Commercial sectorsDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction ManagementExperience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager worked on $1-20m+ brown or greenfield building projectsPrevious experience working for a head contractor or managing contractorAustralian Citizen or able to obtain and maintain a Base Line - Australian Defence security clearance (DCAC)Proficiency using MS Project, MS Office Suite and other project management programs (Procore or Aconex)Proficiency using ERP systems such as Pronto (desirable)Commercial acumen and experience in contract administration, claims, reporting, budget, expenditure, and finance.Construction White Card and Current driver's license.National police clearance (NPC), mandatoryWillingness to travel to regional construction sites when required, LAHA and Project allowances provided in addition to base salaryYou will be provided with a company vehicle or vehicle allowance to complete your day to day work.About McMahon ServicesYou'll be working with one of Australia's largest privately-owned construction, industrial and environmental services organisations.
