Randstad are seeking immediate applications from available and suitable candidates for the role of Electrical Project Manager within a leading mining and resources organisation.
Due to ongoing asset upgrades to improve project performance, this exciting contract opportunity is available.
You will provide effective technical expertise and engineering governance to a range of small scale projects.
Key responsibilities of this role include: Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for capital projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standardsManage project stakeholders, including internal teams, contractors, and external vendorsIdentify and mitigate project risks, develop contingency plans, and track progress effectivelyLead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environmentEnsure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirementsImplement and maintain project management methodologies and best practicesCommunicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular project updates and reportingContribute to the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiativesThe successful candidate will possess: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field5+ years of proven experience project managing brownfield capital projects within an underground mining environmentPrevious experience with control systemsKnowledge of electrical design, installation, and commissioning processesStrong understanding of mining operations, equipment, and regulatory frameworksExcellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsProficient in project management software and toolsDemonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlinesCommitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvementHighly technical and detailedEnergetic with a positive, can-do attitudeCandidates must be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role and preference will be given to those with mining experience.
This position will commence immediately and market rates are on offer.
