We seek an experienced Project Manager – Rail and Civil Infrastructure to join our team and drive the successful delivery of a major and critical project.

Role Overview

As Project Manager – Rail and Civil Infrastructure, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of the rail and civil infrastructure SOW for this major and critical project.
You will manage the project lifecycle for this project's stream (rail and civil infrastructure), ensuring adherence to safety, quality, budget, and timeline requirements while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to meet operational objectives.
Regular interstate travel may be required by the successful applicant.

What you will do: Project planning and executionDevelop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resourcesLead the development and execution of rail and civil infrastructure for this major and critical project, which may include feasibility studies, design, tenders, construction, and commissioningDevelop scopes of work, reports, presentations, and other project-related documentationStakeholder engagement (internal and external)Collaborate with regulatory authorities, engineering consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project alignment with organisational goalsManage stakeholder expectations and communicationProvide regular project updates and ensure clear communication of objectives and progressWhat you will bring: Technical leadership in the design and construction of rail and civil infrastructure, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, environmental regulations, and safety requirementsAbility to conduct technical reviews and provide engineering solutions to project challengesExperience preparing, negotiating, and managing tenders and contracts with vendors, consultants, and contractorsAbility to monitor contractor performance ensuring delivery of work within agreed scope, quality, and timelinesWhat you will need: A recognised degree or equivalent qualification or at least 15 years of relevant experienceMinimum of 5 years managing rail and/or mining infrastructure projectsDemonstrated experience managing large-scale rail, mining, or related resource projectsExceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
