About the role: Are you:
Experienced in applying a systems approach for complex projects?Skilled at building and maintaining stakeholder relationships?A strong performer who thrives when implementing best practice and a focus on continuous improvement?With the significant number of health infrastructure projects in development or delivery, a strong client-side interface to represent client requirements and interests is required. The department is establishing this function to ensure that as projects evolve, the projects remain focused on delivering benefits to the health system as originally intended in line with clinical and broader health system priorities identified.
As the Project Manager, Program Assurance you will be responsible for ensuring systems are developed and implemented to provide comprehensive and accurate advice on the status of projects. This will include providing expertise relating to system tools to support thorough record-keeping for all project documentation such as service and asset planning advice, client requirements documentation, final planning documents and change decisions. This role will coordinate and manage changes to requirements documentation, providing specialist technical systems engineering advice to a broad range of stakeholders and contributing to continuous improvement in project management processes and practices within the System Planning Division.
The Project Manager will represent the department or client views in various forums and discussions. An understanding of health infrastructure or health service delivery would be highly beneficial to the role. Strong and engaging interpersonal and stakeholder management skills will be key to success in the role, as will experience in establishing and managing change control processes for major projects.
