Project Manager - Operational Readiness

Position Summary: The role exists to provide additional support for the Operational Readiness Team.
The team works closely with the Projects Teams to manage Materials Management deliverables for large capital projects.
As a Specialist Operational Readiness, you'll work collaboratively as part of an integrated project team, to drive materials operational readiness for new projects, in conjunction with minimising impact to business working capital.
Key Responsibilities: Plan, schedule and manage Materials Operational Readiness deliverables in alignment with Project execution schedule.Identify and mitigate operational readiness risks, applying practical problem solving and leveraging stakeholder relationships to achieve positive outcomes for the project.Define and execute material master data changes and stocking strategies for large Capital Projects whilst ensuring compliance with Business Financial Standards.Drive inventory optimisation to improve parts availability whilst also focusing on working capital impacts and improvements.Collaborate with Projects and Maintenance Operations customers, leveraging subject matter expertise, to understand and deliver optimal outcomes aligned to project requirements.Balance customer expectations with the capability of the Supply Chain to ensure parts availability as required by the project delivery schedule.Skills Required: Demonstrated experience managing voice of customer expectations.A background in Materials Management, Project Management and/or Engineering.Understanding and experience in Supply Chain Processes and Systems.Demonstrated experience with Inventory Analytics, Strategy.Demonstrated commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment, Charter Values and inclusive culture.Support ongoing sustainment of BHP Operating System Practices through core accountabilities.Bias to action, with strong organisational skills and proactive problem-solving capability are essential characteristics to succeed in this role.Proficient in SAP and Excel essential, experience with MS Project highly beneficial.Who are we: At PERSOLKELLY, our passion is - and always has been - putting you first.
