About the role Our IT PMO and Projects team are looking for a Project Manager – IT (PMO), with skills in proactive project delivery, ability to work collaboratively and with strong regard for organisational requirements. This is to join their diverse and award-winning team located in the Melbourne CBD. As the Project Manager – IT (PMO) you will be responsible for the full project management and software development life cycle for the implementation of both highly complex, large-scale, strategic IT and business Initiatives together with smaller short term tactical projects.
On a day-to-day basis, you will find yourself: 
Managing stakeholder priorities and project timelines with vendor support for delivery.Navigating a sophisticated framework with state-of-the-art technology.Initiating and guiding governance forums/working groups and keeping business stakeholders informed of operational progress utilizing visual data.This is a three (3) year fixed term position, paying a salary between $130,673 and $174,869 plus superannuation with hybrid working arrangement (a mix of office and home/remote based working). The office you will be working from is located in Exhibition Street, Melbourne and you will also have the option to access flexible working arrangements if you need them – many LXRP employees work flexibly.
About you You are someone that has a strong ability to build quality working relationships with your stakeholders and viewing your work through a strategic lens. A big part of your role will be rapport building so that you can understand what your stakeholders need and provide them with correct advice. 
What further skills do we expect you to have?
Experience working on projects, with a knowledge of project management methodology. Knowledge of business analysis, and other strategic planning processes. Knowledge of the software development lifecycle. Exceptional communication and the ability to influence – you'll need to manage the expectations of our stakeholders in tandem with negotiating how to deliver solutions with our tech team.
