Contract: Permanent, Full-TimeCommencement Date: January 2025Location: Wollongong NSW (hybrid)The OpportunityWe are looking for a Project Manager to join our Project and Strategy Delivery Team in a permanent full-time arrangement, commencing January 2025.Reporting to the Manager, Project Management Office, this role is responsible for managing a portfolio of projects and business changes whilst providing expertise and support on project management methodologies and processes.As part of this role you will:Build and develop project teams for assigned projects to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction and motivation.Lead projects from requirements definition through implementation, identifying budget estimation, schedules, scope, key deliverables, benefits including change management plans.Identify, manage and resolve business risks and issues for assigned projects.Embed project governance in project delivery and provide guidance and support in adhering to project management methodologies and principles.Report project status updates and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues as necessary.Manage resources within assigned project and ensure key deliverables are clearly defined and prioritised accordingly.Establish and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders by developing a deep knowledge of the organisation and its functions.Coordinate project steering committee meetings including preparation of steering committee packs and supporting documentation.Facilitate workshops to obtain business requirements and customer satisfaction input to improve and enhance CEnet's service catalogue.Identify, manage and implement change management activities including the development of communication plans, change impact analysis, training plans and engagement plans.About youWe are seeking a collaborative and resilient individual who will support CEnet's growth trajectory. We are looking for someone who has the following experience and qualities:A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, coupled with a solid understanding of the project lifecycle, project artefacts, frameworks and methodologies.Industry qualifications and/or certifications in project management. E.g. PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile and/or related methodologies.Strong time management, planning and organisational skills.Proven success working with all levels of management and managing stakeholders.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Highly organised, strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.A dedication to excellent customer service.Experience in managing IT and/or software projects is desirable but not essential.About usWe are a not-for-profit, Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) services organisation supporting Catholic diocesan education networks that connect school communities across New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, the Australian Capital Territory and the Northern Territory and beyond.
