We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Vision Design Metal Fabrication. We specialise in a wide range of projects, including Structural Steel, Architectural Metalwork, Sheet Metal Works, Services and Repairs, and custom metal works, catering to both large and small-scale endeavours.
Following our recent expansion, which includes a new workshop and office in Yangebup, we are looking for an Office-based Project Manager to collaborate closely with our Director and Site-based Project Manager in our Bibra Lake office.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects from initial conception to completion. You will coordinate people and processes to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet our desired outcomes aligned with our objectives.
Core Responsibilities include:Sourcing materials and requesting quotes from suppliersReading and interpreting fabrication drawings and parts and estimating cost amountsMaintaining delivery date lines and meeting suppliers' requirementsProviding advice on the management of projectsCarrying out risk assessmentMaking sure the quality standards are metUsing IT systems to keep track of people and progressAble to produce small scale architectural drawings for in-house useCommunicate with site PM on job progression and time framesAdhere to Health, Safety & Environmental Policies & ProceduresWe are seeking a highly skilled individual with a robust background in steel and metalwork project management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of leadership and analytical abilities, demonstrating a proactive approach to change and a commitment to achieving project goals. With at least 10 years of experience in Project Management with skills in fabrication and construction costing and estimating, the candidate will be adept at managing risks and developing effective strategies to mitigate them.
