Company Through almost 100 years of operation, this global manufacturer of two-way radio and wireless communications technology have built a trusted name and brand when it comes to providing reliable and zero down time mission critical communications for voice and data. The company manufactures their own two way radio equipment, but also works with other vendors to provide an integration and consulting service across product selection, system design and project fulfilment. The business represents and provides a full solution and turnkey outcomes for mission critical radio and wireless communication systems, covering radio, wireless, network design/infrastructure, as well as integration and ongoing management of services. Opportunity The role of Project Manager has now become available based out of the Melbourne office due to the ongoing growth of the business and the acquiring of major projects across Australia. The prime responsibility will be to systematically plan, manage and coordinate selected projects across the business. Through this you will take on: Total ownership on the deliverables of each project undertaken Management over all key aspects including operational, finance, technical and logistics Indirect management over a team of engineers, admin and operational staff Management over cost control and monitoring expected margin level targets Direct client interaction face to face and remotely, dealing with multiple stakeholders Project Types You will work across all verticals of emergency services and public safety, utilities and urban transport; however you will also be exposed to opportunities within mining and resources and remote site / complex environments. Required Criteria The most essential criteria is: Experience working with land mobile radio, two way radio communications Project management experience, where total ownership over project delivery has been needed Technical skills and experience within a related communications industry. You must have delivered on communications infrastructure projects. Career ambition with a desire to progress and be a part of the executive team The ability to work on multiple projects and manage multi-facets of complex solutions Experience working hands on with clients both in the field and remotely On offer is a salary of $140k - $150k + super, as well as the chance to join a global market leader taking over some major infrastructure projects.
