An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Project Manager to join their contract based in Townsville. You will be working with a positive team in a supportive environment on a (12) month contract with the high likelihood of ongoing work with additional contracts.
The responsibilities of this role include:
Create, review and monitor construction program to ensure satisfactory, on-time completionBudgeting, programming, monitoring expenditure, controlling resources and reviewing priorities.Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputsManage Labour, Plant, Materials and Subcontract within budget and time constraints.Initiate, recommend and provide solutions to quality problemsOrganising, planning and managing resources to bring projects to completion on time and within budgetEnsure all Contract conditions are metOversee project schedules, allocation of personnel and equipmentOversee project management activities, and ensure the performance of subcontractors and material suppliersReview project performance and make continuous improvements as necessary to such things as processes, procedures (including safety) and equipmentLiaise with service providers to ensure service qualitySubmit reports and provide information to management within timeframes.At CiteCon we BELIEVE in investing in people and regions, through employing local workers, subcontractors, and suppliers; and we have a STRONG pipeline of work throughout Queensland.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
At least 5 years' experience in construction project management with a strong contract administration background.Experience in commercial construction specifically with industrial, transport, specialised workshops, community facilities, accommodation, health, retail, and education.Track record of completing projects safely, on time and on budget.The ability to collaborate with the CiteCon team, clients, and key stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.Skills in subcontractor management, accompanied by a strong knowledge of commercial contracts.Knowledge of advanced project management software such as Jonas Premier, Job Pac, Procore, Coins.Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.Positive attitude - be optimistic about situations, interactions, and yourself.Be part of a local family-owned and operated business that holds the reputation as a construction LEADER and employer of choice!
Working with the CiteCon team, you will drive process improvement initiatives and have intermediate level computer skills, and the ability to make decisions based on the core values of the company. You must possess good communication skills, be honest, reliable, and have pride in your work.
