Project Manager

SJM Property Developments provide a diverse range of residential & commercial property developments in the Kingborough, Huon & Greater Hobart regions. We are currently seeking to recruit a capable individual who can oversee and supervise our residential and multi-residential projects. The right individual needs to share our passion for delivering high quality, on time and on budget property developments.
Qualifications & experience At least four years' experience as a Project Manager or similar roleA Building Trade Certificate or tertiary education in Construction Management is preferred but not requiredConsiderable knowledge of the methods, practices, tools, materials and work standards related to Construction. A high level of attention to detail with excellent time management and organisation skills and a passion for working in a fast-paced environmentThe ability to identify defects or problems proactively and take the necessary actions to rectify or prevent problems efficientlyTasks & responsibilities Lead projects from beginning to handoverManage onsite teams, including subcontractorsAllocation of materials and trades to job sites to ensure timely construction of homesEnsuring that homes are built in accordance with contractual arrangements and approved drawings on time and within budgetInspecting completed work to ensure high standard of quality workmanshipEnsuring construction is carried out safely and in accordance with company policy, QMS (quality management systems) and WHS legislation and that the required documentation and paperwork is completed during the building processEstablish and manage construction schedulesSalary will be negotiated dependent on skill and experience + super + vehicle + mobile phoneYour application will include the following questions:
