About You: With extensive experience in project management, you excel in planning, scope, time, and cost control, quality management, risk management, and leading project teams. Your proven expertise in both technical and commercial contract management spans all stages of a project—from feasibility and design to planning, contract negotiation, construction, and handover. A relevant tertiary qualification is required, and a project management certification is highly desirable.
About the role: As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and handover of the Cethana project, supporting Hydro Tasmania's Battery of the Nation initiative. You'll manage and report on budgets, prioritise safety, and embody Hydro Tasmania's values. Building strong relationships with stakeholders, you'll ensure collaboration across teams and the wider business. Using robust project management practices, you'll achieve project goals, managing personnel, contracts, risks, and issues while maintaining technical quality, cost efficiency, and schedules. You'll also oversee contract documentation, supervise contracts, and contribute to improving project management processes.
