In this role you will: Support and implement strategic initiatives on key company processes and performance indicators.Supervise and lead a group of cross-functional project team members and provide technical support as required.Forecast, monitor, report on and take responsibility for timing, unit cost, project costs and capital costs related to projects using company systems and procedures.Plan and facilitate resources for the group's activities.Promote interaction and cooperation between group members, other groups and departments and sister company project groups.Take care of project specific customer issues and improve customer perceptions of the company.Participate in the development of business and marketing plans specific to the group.Ensure that new designs do not infringe patent or registered designs.
Original designs are adequately covered by patents or register design in accordance with the company's patent procedures.Ensure projects follow systems and procedures in accordance with the company's NPI (New Project Introduction) processes and procedures.Ensure design standards are used where appropriate and updated as required, maximising the global benefits of the company's global IT platforms.The successful applicant will require: Professional Engineering/Project Management qualifications or proven performance in a similar automotive position.Good people and organisational skills.Demonstrated analytical abilities and flexibility of approach with experience in the planning and control of design engineering projects.If you are ready to take your career to the next level, and if you are excited about the prospect of working for a company that is shaping the future of engineering, then we want to hear from you!
