Project Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.
DDM Civil Pty Ltd is based in Margate with sites across Southern Tasmania.

Your Responsibilities will include:
Project construction program management, including planning, executing, monitoring and closing of projects Vetting contracts including subcontractor negotiations Overseeing contractors and liaising regularly with both the site and office teams Engaging with stakeholders and managing internal, external and third party relationships Strategically manage any issues, risks and opportunities Deliver your project to the highest standard of client satisfaction and quality Effective utilisation of IT resources, including Procore Supervising the administration of RFIs to clients, architects and consultants Supervising the preparation of contract variations Preparation of progress claims for approval Conducting status review meetings with team members and clients Providing reports and documentation on project stage and progress Constant evaluation of current processes, looking for innovative improvements All other reasonable duties as required in line with the business' requirements To be successful in this role you will have:
Proven project management with experience delivering multiple projects from start to finish A minimum of 5 years experience as a construction Project Manager Qualifications in construction project management and business administration would be highly regarded Energy and enthusiasm to drive the project to schedule Experience using Procore, MS Office and MS Project Effective client and subcontractor communication and relationship building skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make concise decisions Foresight planning, teamwork, communication and negotiating skills High attention to detail, quality of work and delivering construction projects to an exemplary standard Strong verbal, written, and organisational skills Show a strong commitment to OH&S and site safety Ability to motivate a team and deliver to the project program Collaborative skills in the direction and management of contractors and labourers A competitive salary and other benefits are on offer to the successful applicant.
