About the role We are looking for a Project Manager with experience in residential land development. This role is a permanent full-time opportunity based at our award-winning Harmony community located at Palmview. Reporting to the Project Director, you will support the Harmony Developments team to ensure a successful construction program that will be delivered to quality standards. Specifically, this role will:
Engage and manage principal and sub-contractor contractsOversee and manage the construction works program to be delivered to agreed timeline, cost and quality standardsNegotiate agreements/contracts with local and/or state authorities and government bodies exercising effective cost minimizationLead site construction and consultant meetings and follow up on action itemsAssess and monitor all project cost forecasts and programs for reliance in monthly project feasibility updatesManage contracts and variations to contracts within budget and in liaison with Accounts PayableEnsure all principal contractors are onboarded and conduct site inspections in accordance with the WHSE requirementsReport all incidents and/or near misses internallyPrepare PCG Reports and ad-hoc reports as requiredSkills and Experience Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree qualifiedSound property industry knowledge related to subdivisions and major Council infrastructureKnowledge of residential property and industry including legislation and compliance requirements of constructionKnowledge of design/construction approval processes and requirementsProven experience in management of construction delivery (residential subdivision)Experience managing multidisciplinary consulting teamsStrong stakeholder management capability and a drive for resultsStrong negotiation skills and providing others with directionExcellent planning, organisational and problem solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced MS Office skills (Excel & Project)Benefits and perks Enjoy competitive remuneration including our annual short term incentive scheme and a collaborative team environment.
