Purpose of the Position: The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Port of Brisbane portfolio.
This role encompasses the full lifecycle management of projects, including data, fibre, electrical, security, civil works, design, and estimation.
In addition, the Project Manager will play a key role in business and relationship management, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Main Duties/Responsibilities: Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects within the portfolio Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies Ensure all projects comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management within the data, electrical, and security infrastructure sectors Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects Strong knowledge of data, fibre, electrical, CCTV, security, and civil engineering Design and Estimation: Oversee the design and estimation process for all projects within the portfolio Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions Prepare detailed project estimates, including materials, labour, and equipment costs Ensure accuracy and completeness of all design and estimation documentation Business and Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners Serve as the primary point of contact for all client communications, ensuring client needs are met and expectations exceeded Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Brisbane Conduct regular client meetings to review project progress, address concerns, and gather feedback Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of technicians and other staff associated with Port of Brisbane operations Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting professional development and growth Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvements within the portfolio Implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance project delivery and client outcomes Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team #J-18808-Ljbffr
