Our client specialising in ecological design and build focuses on creating Net-Zero homes and buildings using natural and locally sourced materials, particularly Scottish-grown timber. They offer a range of example home designs that are energy-efficient and sustainable. These homes are designed to be healthy, comfortable, and low-energy, emphasising a fabric-first approach that ensures long-term efficiency.
We are supporting them on hiring a Project Manager who embodies the same values as the company, someone who is eco-friendly, passionate about being net-zero and motivated by having a positive impact on the planet.
We're looking for someone with industry knowledge and can hit the ground running, a people person who can build strong relationships with all stakeholders.
Key responsibilities.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise projects
- Receive design, then confirm scope of works and specifications
- Dealing with planning and warrant applications
- Engage and work closely with engineering
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Form and build client relationships
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and reports.
- Manage tenders for Groundworks and Fit-out
- Consultant engagement
- Scheduling of work for department
- Monitor project costs and manage financial aspects to ensure profitability
- Ensure CDM regulation compliance
